Getting started with your Green Feathers Solar Powered Battery CameraUpdated a month ago
Before You Begin
Welcome to the world of battery-powered solar cameras. Bringing our first instalment to market which with these instructions will help get you set up.
Please Note: You want to unpack all the parts out of the box and get it set up and working before mounting it in position.
With the camera out of the box, you will want to connect it to power with the Type C USB lead and charge the camera fully. This will take around 8 - 10 hours to fully charge. At the same time, you want to charge the solar panel which will take around 16 - 20 hours.
On the opposite side, there is an on-and-off switch for turning the solar panel on and off.
Make sure to put these rubber pieces back on before putting the solar panel outside.

Test the WiFi signal strength by taking your smartphone/tablet to the site where you plan to install your camera; if it has a weak signal at the installation site then the camera may struggle to maintain a connection (see section 9 Hints & Tips at the bottom of the guide for help with WiFi signal strength)
Ensure the device being used to set up the camera is connected to the same WiFi network that you want the camera to be connected to (this is only required for the setup process
Make sure you know the name and password of the WiFi network to which the camera will be connected to
Make sure that you are connecting the camera to a 2.4GHz WiFi signal; if you don't know what this is you can read more here. Connecting the camera in a different room to where your router is can help it connect to the 2.4GHz network.
