Viewing recordings from a Wi-Fi bird box camera on a phone/tabletUpdated 6 months ago

This guide will show you how to play recordings that have been made on your WiFi bird box camera using your phone or tablet.

Before You Begin

  • Make sure that your camera is connected to your WiFi network. If it isn't then follow this guide to connect the camera.
  • Set up your camera to take recordings, if you haven't already done so this guide will show you how to do so.

Let's Get Started

First open ICSee Pro and load your cameras live view. Next click the Playback button near the bottom of the screen and, on the menu that opens, press Video.

If the app gives you an error at this point please double check that your camera is set to record and follow this guide to check that the time and date on your camera are set correctly.

You will see a screen like the one above. At the top you have the recording being played, below that you have blocks which show the start time of each recording, then a timeline of the day. On the timeline you will see one of two things depending on how you have the camera set up.

If your camera is set on motion recording you will see a series of red lines as in the image above, each of these lines is a recording triggered by motion. You can skip back and forth by using the left and right arrows on the blocks above the timeline or by swiping left and right on the timeline itself.

If your camera is set to continuous recording you will see a solid blue line across the timeline but again you can navigate by using the left and right arrows or swiping on the timeline.

To view recordings from a different day click on the date below the timeline and you will see a calendar like below:

Any days which have recordings are highlighted in blue, the day that you currently have selected is shown in red and if you wish to change to another day then just tap on the date you want to watch recordings from.
